Ther are other Roland and Yamaha gear which also sound great with GS and XG formats. The XG Midi files only sound correct in S-YXG50. The GS Midi files only sound correct in Sound Canvas VA. Recommendations: Sound Canvas VA for GM/GS and Yamaha S-YXG50 for GM/XG. Some may sound different even amazing and can be tweaked as you like.
